“Real Women, Real Results: Hear Their Success Stories!”

  • Meet Lindsay

Prior to having children, I was an athlete and maintained a rigid training schedule including several marathon completions. After having 3 kids in 3 years, 2 C-sections, and lots of physical and mental recovery…my fitness and nutrition routine had become a struggle. Approaching 40, I knew I had to look for help. I hired Lori a year ago. Her training has been a game changer. I feel stronger than I have ever been before with prior training. I have my mental confidence back and I feel like I have more energy to push myself further. My nutrition for both my family and I have drastically changed. Lori is persistent, a hard worker, and she truly cares about each of her clients individual needs.

I have been training with Lori for a little less than two months now. Being someone who has only ever done cardio and had never lifted a weight in my life, I would say that this has been one of the most life changing experiences. The week I had started training with Lori, I decided to start eating meat again after being a pescatarian for 7 years. I started setting goals for myself, and I knew that I needed to gain a lot of muscle by eating more foods that fuel my body. I had no idea where to begin. Aside from the nutritional value advice and personalized exercises that Lori provides me weekly, she has taught me lessons that go way beyond my health and wellness. Lori constantly goes the extra mile and pays attention to detail, giving me workouts that comply with reaching my physique goals and easing back pain due to my scoliosis. The most important thing that I have learned from Lori is to follow the plan and not my mood. If you want to see results, you MUST trust the process. Since starting this journey, I show up for myself everyday. Whether I’m tired, not feeling 100%, or not in the “mood” to workout and eat well. No excuse will get you closer to meeting your goals. Choose your hard!

I found Lori through my best friend, and I’m so grateful! As a former ballet athlete, I lost touch with fitness after my 20s. By my 30s, I was a busy working mom of twin girls, and my health took a back seat. At 42, I was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer. It was the wake-up call I needed to prioritize my health. Strength training became essential, not just for my physical health but also as a mental outlet. It hasn’t been easy—finding time, committing, and showing up is hard. But I’m setting goals, adjusting expectations, and doing the work. Lori isn’t just my trainer; she’s my friend and sometimes my therapist! I’m so thankful for this journey.
